Drawing on over two decades of experience, James "Jay" Davis III is an attorney in practice at J. Davis Attorney At , LLC, which he founded in 1997. Before establishing the office, James "Jay" Davis III attended Georgia State University College of Law, where he earned his J.D.

Since gaining his law degree, he has focused on numerous matters in various sectors, such as estate planning, real estate and elder law while also working with clients in specific industries, such as builders and property developers. He is also a county conservator and legal administrator.

Before entering a career in law, he was a member of the U.S. Army, where he served in the 9th Infantry Division at Fort Lewis, Washington. Graduating from basic and advanced training, he earned battalion honors as well as honors from intelligence school and armorer’s school. In his free time, he enjoys pursuits such as golf and poker.
