James R. Carey serves as an attorney at Levin Schreder & Carey Ltd., a trust and estate dispute resolution and litigation practice in Chicago, Illinois. His services focus on the areas of contested estate, trust and guardianship, estate and gift tax controversies, and fiduciary and estate planning risk management. An attorney with more than two decades of legal experience, James R. Carey is also particularly skilled in mediation and settling matters through trials and appellate courts.
Maintaining an active presence in the legal scene outside his work at Levin Schreder & Carey, he frequently speaks before various organizations such as the Estate Planning Councils of Chicago, the Chicago Bar Association, and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
