Jamie Thorsen is an established Chicago finance executive who held responsibilities with BMO Capital Markets as Foreign Exchange (FX) Products Executive Managing Director for almost 20 years. Overseeing a team of 100 professionals spanning Asia, the UK, Canada, and the United States, Jamie Thorsen consistently attained revenue objectives and steered the FX business to prominence in the global rankings for the Canadian dollar.

Holding a unique leadership position for a woman in her industry, Ms. Thorsen achieved distinction as the only female executive committee member within the Investment Bank. She also held a longstanding position on the Foreign Exchange Committee of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (NY Fed), which is tasked with overseeing FX regulations.

Ms. Thorsen’s achievements over the decades earned her firm accolades such as "Best FX Bank”. She has also been recognized by Profit and Loss Magazine as a Woman to Watch and as a Hall of Fame member. With the interest of her community at heart, Jamie Thorsen has served on the board of her alma mater Denison University and chaired the Advancement Committee Service Club of Chicago.
