Guiding Sunny Side up Hospitality with her husband and business partner Jeff McInnis, chef Janine Booth is a prominent presence in the US culinary industry. Based in South Florida, chef Janine Booth oversees diverse restaurant operations that feature quality farm-to-table ingredients, including Root & Bone. With locations in Indianapolis, South Miami, and New York, the iconic brand is known for its southern American comfort cooking.
Ms. Booth oversaw all aspects of the original Manhattan location’s 2014 launch, including concept, build, and interior and kitchen design. In 2017 she additionally guided the concept, launch, and day to day management of the Stiltsville Fish Bar in South Beach, Miami. Since 2019, she has led Mi'talia Kitchen & Bar in South Miami and Sauced Pizza in Portage, Indiana.
Ms. Booth gained nationwide media prominence in late 2013 through appearing on BC/Bravo’s “Top Chef,” where she rose to a nearly victorious performance against 18 worthy contenders in New Orleans. She has also appeared on numerous Emmy-nominated “Last Chance Kitchen” episodes. Beyond the culinary realm, she has a strong focus on raising a healthy and loving family with her husband.
