Holding membership with the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants, Jared Mellor draws upon more than 15 years of experience in his role as a project manager at Roof Systems Consulting. His responsibilities in this capacity include project documentation as well as infrared scan and drone surveys. Jared Mellor has been working at the Pennsylvania-based company since 2004, prior to which he gained experience as a roofer mechanic during summer internships with the United States Roofing Corporation.

In addition to his on-the-job experience, Jared Mellor holds a certification in The Basics of Roofing, Basic Roof Consulting, and Advanced Roof Consulting from Roof Consultants Institute. He has also completed courses in diagnostic and repair, roof repair and maintenance, and roof inspection at The Roofing Industry Educational Institute. Constantly seeking to expand his knowledge in the field, he regularly attends seminars hosted by Carlisle Syntec and the National Roofing Contractors Association.

Mr. Mellor studied psychology at the University of South Carolina, where he served as vice president of Alpha Tau Omega. He enjoys spending his free time with his children as well as coaching youth sports and watching standup comedy.
