Since founding Edens Land in Durham, North Carolina, engineer Jarrod Edens has served as its president and overseen all of its operations. This work includes project management, marketing, and finance, as well as direct oversight of 12 employees. His work as a civil engineer has also included roles at companies like Horvath Associates, Trigon Engineering, and Milone & MacBroom. Jarrod Edens stays active in the civil engineering community through professional organizations, including the Homebuilders Associations of Durham, Orange, and Chatham counties.
Mr. Edens also stays active in the Durham City Council. He regularly attends its hearings and presents projects with many having been well-received in the community. The Durham City Council also previously appointed him a member of the Durham City-County Planning Commission.
Prior to entering the world of civil engineering and construction, Mr. Edens attended Southwest Virginia Community College for his associate degree in engineering and moved on to Virginia Tech to earn a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
