While working toward his bachelor of arts in broadcast communications from the Washington State University (WSU) Edward R. Murrow School of Communications, Jason Gesser excelled as a quarterback of the WSU football team. Before graduating in 2002, he led the team to an appearance at the Rose Bowl and a win at the Sun Bowl. He also set 13 university records including most wins by a quarterback. Jason Gesser went on to play professionally, quarterbacking for the Tennessee Titans, the Calgary Stampeders, and the Utah Blaze.
Jason Gesser has also found success as a coach and a network sports analyst. While working as an administrator with the WSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics from 2014 to 2018, he secured a master of business administration with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
For the past year, Mr. Gesser has operated his own business consultancy with a dual focus on fundraising and sales. His accomplishments with Grit Consulting include sourcing and facilitating the acquisition of $1 million in investments in just four months.
