Texas-based health care entrepreneur Jeanne Shipp has enjoyed a wide-ranging career as cofounder and administrator of freestanding emergency rooms. As the owner of Baymont Emergency Room, LLC (DBA Patients Emergency Room), Jeanne Shipp oversees all aspects of operations including pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, and emergency care.

A registered nurse with a degree from Lee College, Ms. Shipp is responsible for a full range of compliance activities that ensure the emergency room is meeting state mandates. She also guides Hospitality Health ER in Galveston and Tyler, where she manages personnel matters such as contracts and hiring.

While pursuing her nursing studies at Lee College, Ms. Shipp served as a Student Nursing Association officer. Active in her professional community, Ms. Shipp maintains membership in the Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers. She is also affiliated with the Baytown Chamber of Commerce and sponsors a Little League team through her business.
