A certified athletic administrator through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, Jeffrey (Jeff) Alger most recently served four years as athletic director of North Tonawanda City Schools in North Tonawanda, NY. This position placed him in charge of all district extracurricular sports teams as well as physical education and health program services. Jeffrey Alger’s accomplishments with North Tonawanda City Schools include coordinating a $20-million capital improvement project to improve its existing athletic fields.

Over the course of a public school career that spans nearly 25 years, Jeff Alger has served as a physical education teacher with the Rome City School District in Rome, NY, a physical education teacher and athletic director intern with the Webster Central School District in Webster, and the director of health, physical education, and athletics with the Waterloo Central School District in Waterloo. Mr. Alger's professional accomplishments have earned him multiple public honors including a 2010 Amazing Person’s Award from the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
