Possessing more than 15 years of experience as a category analyst, Jeffrey LaLonde most recently worked with Spartan Nash in Byron Center, Michigan. Before that, he spent a decade at Gordon Food Service, doing most of his work as a category analyst. He also previously held the same title at Anheuser Bush. At Spartan Nash, Jeffrey LaLonde worked closely with a dozen key personnel throughout 70-plus category business plan meetings. The result of these work sessions was the development of a strategy that led to a 4 percent annual sales increase for the company.
He also developed scripts, generated content ideas, and served as a host for programming on Spartan Nash’s video channels, which were geared toward independent retailers. He oversaw product markdowns on a bi-weekly basis as well. Outside of his professional life, Jeffrey LaLonde is an avid fan of Michigan sports. He follows professional teams such as the Lions and Tigers, as well as college sports at Michigan University.
