Over the course of his career, Berwyn, Illinois, attorney Jerry Marzullo has represented clients in labor, pension, and related matters. He entered the legal profession in 2004 as an assistant state's attorney in Cook County, Illinois, having graduated with his juris doctor from Loyola University Chicago. Future Berwyn professional Jerry Marzullo went on from this position to private practice and then to an associate role with Richard J. Reimer and Associates, where he began building his experience in labor, pension and employment law.
Mr. Marzullo served Richard J. Reimer and Associates for more than seven years, during which time he drafted a number of successful court briefs for interest arbitrations and unfair labor practice proceedings before the Illinois Labor Relations Board. He also oversaw a number of police and fire union and pension board meetings and led related negotiations. He has since gone on to apply this experience base as a founding partner in the firm of Puchalski Goodloe Marzullo, through which he provides counsel in public sector pension, labor, and employment law.
Actively involved in municipal firefighting services in his own right, Mr. Marzullo has served as an engineer and lieutenant with the City of Berwyn Fire Department since 1999. Charged with engine, ladder, and quint companies, he has performed fire suppression as well as first responder functions. Also past president of the city's Firefighters' Pension Fund, he researched potential fund assets and contributed to the development of the fund's long-term strategic planning.
