The recipient of a bachelor's degree in psychology from Ithaca College in New York, Jesse Boyce went on to graduate from Hudson Valley Community College with an associate degree in nursing and a 3.9 GPA. He also earned a pair of scholarships and an Excellence in Research award for his study on maternal anxiety and how it affects fetal emotional development. Upon graduating, Jesse Boyce began working in the pediatrics unit of Saint Peters Hospital in Albany, and now leverages more than 15 years of relevant experience in his role as a charge nurse.
A finalist for the Daisy Award for exceptional nursing, Jesse Boyce also worked three years as a supervisor at a 30-day chemical dependency treatment center and has led studies and programming related to childhood obesity prevention, analgesia, and cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome. Supplementing his professional pursuits, he maintains membership with the American Nurses Association and, in 2014, earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the State University of NY Polytechnic Institute. In his free time he enjoys coaching youth football, archery, and writing poetry.
