JP Morgan managing director Jesus Fomperosa attended law school at the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain, during which time he served an internship with the law firm of Bufete Alexander Pitts with a focus on international mergers and acquisitions. After securing his law degree and serving a year of compulsory military service, he embarked on a successful banking career with the large Spanish bank Banesto in Mexico City, Mexico. Jesus Fomperosa subsequently immigrated to the United States and held senior administrative positions with Banesto in New York City and with Banco Bilbao Vizcaya in Miami, Florida.
While residing in New York, Mr. Fomperosa returned to academia to earn a master of business administration with a concentration in management from the New York Institute of Technology in New York City. Ultimately returning to the greater Miami area in 2010, Jesus Fomperosa accepted a position as a managing director with JP Morgan.
