An established auctioneer in Los Alamos, New Mexico, Jill Cook has spent more than a decade assisting nonprofit organizations with fundraising events across the region. Drawing upon training received at the World Wide College of Auctioneering, she has provided volunteer auctioneering services for groups such as United Way of Northern New Mexico, the Buckaroo Ball of Santa Fe, and Villa Therese Catholic Clinic in Santa Fe. Over the years, Jill Cook has volunteered as an auctioneer for more than 75 events.

In addition to her volunteer auctioneering efforts, Ms. Cook gives back to area nonprofit groups as a board member of several organizations, including previous board service with the New Mexico affiliate of Health Care Service Corp., United Way of Northern New Mexico, and Villa Therese Catholic Clinic. She has also held leadership roles with the Los Alamos YMCA, her local school district, and her local Rotary chapter.

Jill Cook complements her community service with her professional role as the manager of human resources and operational effectiveness for the nonprofit company Homewise, Inc., in Santa Fe. There, she guides a range of IT, systems, and process-improvement initiatives while designing and implementing all recruitment and hiring strategies.

The recipient of a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Ms. Cook has also received training at the University of Colorado Graduate School of Banking and the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico.
