A licensed emergency medical technician (EMT) in the state of Michigan, Jimmy Marwan Kassis earned certification through the Department of Health and Human Services' Bureau of EMS, Trauma, & Preparedness. In 2018, Jimmy Marwan Kassis joined Beaumont EMS in Taylor, Michigan, where he provides emergency services ranging from answering client calls to driving emergency vehicles to supply on-site trauma care and transport patients to medical facilities. His approach involves efficiency without haste, with a focus on reassuring both patients and bystanders to ensure all remain calm.

Prior to his work as an EMT, he spent many years as an executive officer with the United States Army in Lansing. He also earned his bachelor's degree in psychology with honors from Wayne State University in Detroit.
