Former Softbank Emerging Markets CFO John Haag is a business industry veteran who holds a BBA from the University of North Texas and an MBA from Columbia University. In addition to multiple roles with major corporations, John Haag has held executive positions with small startups including Trinity Flywheel Power.
Over the course of two years in the late 1990s, Haag served the small energy startup as its executive vice president. During this time, he helped the company raise the additional funds necessary to maintain its operations by restructuring the legal agreements with its shareholders. The grant proposals that he drafted in this position ultimately helped the company achieve more than one-third of its total funding.
Outside of his work in the startup sector, Haag served as a turnaround consultant for the California Institute of Integral Studies, where he assisted the organization in achieving solvency over the course of a single year. He currently serves as a managing partner for Callister Haag Consulting in San Francisco.
