With almost five decades of experience in the professional real estate field, John J. Barone II is the president of Barone Rental Properties and Barone Enterprises. In 1981 John developed and oversaw 25 rental homes in Toledo's inner city before venturing into general use office buildings and then onto medical office buildings and campuses. Between 1959 and 1969, John J. Barone II was in charge of doing general maintenance inside his Fathers office buildings in downtown Toledo. John oversaw and helped maintain 14 buildings in downtown Toledo owned by his father before departing to pursue a bachelor of arts in business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1970.

Alongside this, John Barone II serves as Barone Rental Properties’ president, a position he began in 1999 after founding the rental property firm. In this role, he oversees the financing, development, and maintenance of office buildings totaling over 400,000 square feet and over 225 apartments. In 1981 he founded, developed, and over saw the staffing of over 250 employees in 5 Rosies Italian Family style Restuarants.

Alongside his BA, John J. Barone II holds a certificate in business from St. John Jesuit, which he earned in 1970 before attending Miami University. Outside real estate, he is dedicated Father to his family and 4 children, an avid deep-sea fisherman. A former swim champion in the State of Ohio, he also has experience working as a lifeguard, among other roles.
