An accomplished business professional and executive residing in Chicago, Illinois, John M. Fife attended the Harvard Graduate School of Business where he received his MBA. Prior to earning this distinction, John M. Fife obtained a joint bachelor of science degree in computer science and statistics from Brigham Young University.
A forward-thinking entrepreneur, Mr. Fife founded Chicago Venture Partners (CVP) in 1998. He successfully guided CVP to become a leading Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) that became licensed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) in 1999. Today, he continues to lead the organization’s operational initiatives through private investments in public equities.
In addition to his role at CVP, John M. Fife serves as the president of Typenex Medical and United American Healthcare Corp. Mr. Fife is also the past president, CEO, and chairman of Utah Resources International, Inc. His vast knowledge and experience in venture capital, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions has led him to serve in multiple chairman of the board positions for companies including United American Healthcare Corp., Pulse Systems, and Miller Fabrication LLC.
Dedicated to providing support within his community, he has provided financial contributions to the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association and his alma maters.
