Selected as one of America’s Top Doctors, John M. Kennedy, MD, leads a multidisciplinary Southern California team as director of Kindred Health Systems. Overseeing a spectrum of treatment that spans respiratory therapy, infectious conditions, and dietary control, John M. Kennedy, MD, helps ensure a quality continuum of care.
Dr. Kennedy has an extensive background in cardiology that includes a master’s degree in the subject from Dartmouth Medical School. He completed his MD at Brown University and, at Stanford University, pursued a cardiology clerkship that highlighted the connection between heart disease prevention and proper nutrition and stress reduction.
The latter area of focus has carried on throughout Dr. Kennedy’s career, and he has authored books that include The Heart Health Bible: The 5-Step Plan to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease.
He is also chief medical officer and founder of Encardia Wellness and has developed a system that offers companies ways of encouraging employee fitness, health, and workplace satisfaction.
