A resident of Baltimore, Maryland, John Reiff earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he was elected the president of Sigma Omicron Fraternity. Shortly after graduating, John Reiff joined the Naval Air Systems Command in Crystal City, Virginia, where he served as an engineering manager for over eight years. In this position, he oversaw a portfolio of contracts for the naval aircraft’s avionics.
While working for the Naval Air Systems Command, Mr. Reiff graduated with a juris doctor from the Washington School of Law at American University. Before starting a legal career in Baltimore, he went back to serve as a contract attorney for the Naval Air Systems Command, where he focused on managing the engineering services and products from Department of Defense contractors.
In 1997, John Reiff became a partner at Bishop, Daneman, and Rieff, where he worked on legal cases dealing with real estate. He went on to join Land Research Associates, LLC, where he has served as a managing member for nearly two decades. His work primarily involves managing rental units and supervising joint ventures and development projects with the company’s individual and institutional clients. He opened his private law firm in 2018 and specializes in real estate property law.
