Jonathan Yob has led the Yob Family Foundation in Tampa, Florida, as president since establishing the philanthropic organization in 2012. As the leader of the foundation, Jonathan Yob oversees the cultivation and maintenance of the organization’s social media presence, which is used, in part, as a means to better evaluate relevant industry trends. He is further tasked with organizing special charity events and arranging matching donations to meet financial targets.
Under the guidance of Mr. Yob, one of the foundation’s most recent projects was the sponsorship of the Koala Encounter at ZooTampa, formerly known as Lowry Park Zoo, which aims to protect koalas and advance ZooTampa’s mission to educate the public regarding animal protection. Moreover, YFF has provided lead donations for projects such as the Florida Aquarium’s “Journey to Madagascar” exhibit, the Grammy Museum’s Music Revolution Project of Tampa Bay, and the Tampa General Hospital’s palliative care expansion project, among other partnerships.
In addition, Mr. Yob has led YFF in supporting a wide range of humanitarian and nonprofit groups, such as the Children’s Cancer Center, Hillsborough Education Foundation, A Kid’s Place, Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch, American Red Cross and Metropolitan Ministries.
