A diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology, Joseph Frey, PhD, ABPP, is a licensed psychologist practicing from his office in Augusta, GA. Specializing in a range of areas, he often performs forensic consultations (including court-ordered custody and visitation evaluations), consults with attorneys, and helps with sexual and physical abuse defense. He also provides business management psychological services to companies and psychological assessments for both adults and children. He also helps students become successful in an academic environment through his involvement with Partners in Achievement.
Dr. Frey attended Georgia State University where he received his PhD in family clinical psychology. From there, he took a full-time faculty position the within the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Department of Pediatrics. He later began teaching at the Medical College of Georgia. During his time at the Medical College of Georgia, he opened his first independent practice, and after running the office for four years, he opened and worked at a group practice. Several years later, he opened his current office.
