A 1993 graduate of Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia, Joseph (Joe) Neal, Jr., practiced for three years as an assistant district attorney with the Superior Courts in Richmond, Columbia, and Burke County Georgia, before joining his father’s prominent personal injury and wrongful death firm. He opened his own law firm in 2000 and a second office in Atlanta in 2012. Under Joseph Neal, Jr.’s direction, this firm handles catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases that range from trucking and car accidents and premises liability to medical malpractice, fire and burn cases and environmental torts.

While spearheading activities at Neal Law, Joe R Neal, Jr., twice returned to the academic arena, earning a certificate in trial law and psychodramatic techniques from Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in 2000-2001 and completing the American Association for Justice’s Ultimate Trial Advocacy Course at Harvard Law School in 2012.

Joe Neal is an active member of the American Association for Justice as well as the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Melvin Belli Society, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He formerly served the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association as a vice president and super champion member.
