A member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, Judith Abraham has nearly 30 years of experience in nursing in a variety of capacities. Judith Abraham most recently served as interim manager of women's services at Chicago's St. Anthony Hospital and, while she spent most of her career working in Illinois, also held an interim director of obstetrics role with Wyoming's Thermopolis Hospital. She was hired by the Wyoming-based hospital in 2015 and spent six months updating and modernizing the obstetrics department's practices, policies, and procedures.
Judith Abraham has also worked as a staff registered nurse at Northwest Community Hospital and Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, but spent the majority of her career at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, working as a bedside labor and delivery nurse and later as a care coordinator for high-risk obstetrics patients. She was named Nurse of the Year by the Chicago Sun-Times in 2004.
She holds a master's degree in organizational leadership from Lewis University as well as a bachelor's degree in nursing from Elmhurst College. In addition to her professional endeavors, she is the proud mother of a former hockey player as well as a professional Muay Thai kick boxer.
