Judy Burke is a well-established thriller writer who authored Blackrock Island as J. Lee Burke. Her novel was featured at a Chicago Tribune-sponsored Printer’s Row event, as well as on CBS WWJ Newswatch. Judy Burke has presented at international events related to the book in venues such as The Mayo County Library, Castlebar, Ireland, and at The Four Masters Bookshop in Donegal Town.

Ms. Burke’s background in education extends to engaging with the University of Michigan in the 1980s as administrator, supervisor, and student teachers’ Instructor.
