As a metadata services librarian at the Los Angles headquarters of the Fox Corporation, Julie Bill oversaw the launch of a state-of-the-art master data management (MDM) system with a focus on metadata aggregation and title/customer master information. She spearheaded the integration of business groups into the new MDM system and developed workflows with various Fox business and IT partners under the MDM umbrella. As part of a metadata services team Julie Bill thoroughly tested the new Fox MDM system to ensure full and lasting stability.

Before joining Fox in October of 2019, Julie Bill served 7 years with Musicians Institute, a Los Angeles-based organization that prepares students for careers in the music/entertainment business. She developed and maintained the Musicians Institute’s reference services and library print collection for 2 years as a librarian before heading the organization’s extensive library for 5 years as director of library services. This involved overseeing budgeting, staffing, circulation, and educational instruction at the Musicians Institute’s Hollywood and Nashville campuses.
