Karen Auer provides accounting assistance to individual and corporate clients. Her services, which she has offered for more than two decades, center on preparing and reviewing tax returns, creating and reviewing financial statements, and preparing sales and payroll taxes. The former principal of an accounting firm, Karen Auer has additional experience handling audits and government and financial reporting for labor unions and nonprofits, among other groups.

Karen Auer holds a BA in accounting from Queens College in Queens, New York. She maintains associate membership with the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and previously served on the board of Women Economic Developers of Long Island.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Auer has supported her Long Island community as a trustee of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethpage. She also stands out as a volunteer with Birthday Wishes of Long Island, a Hicksville-based organization that organizes birthday parties for local children experiencing homelessness.
