Kathy Nishnic is a South Carolina-based registered representative who held accounting and item procurement responsibilities with the United States Air Force from 1974 to 1983 while stationed at the Torrejon Air Base and Ramstein Air Base in Spain and Germany, respectively. While working at the General Dynamics-Foreign Military Sales division in Fort Worth, Texas, Kathy Nishnic was primarily tasked with acquiring equipment to be used on both bases for recreational purposes.

Upon returning to the United States, Kathy Nishnic earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Troy University. Five years later, she began working as a registered representative with Mantei and Associates. She has been in this position for more than 20 years and is one of the firm's top-ranked brokers, having previously won the Senior VP of Investments Employee of the Year Award. Supplementing her extensive experience in tax and estate planning, she holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ms. Nishnic has participated in many charity walks in support of breast cancer awareness and is a member of Shandon Baptist Church. Her hobbies include traveling, walking, and attending live theater.
