Active with the American Society of Safety Professionals, Keith Walter Pillich is an environmental health and safety (EHS) professional who holds a leadership role with Vlado Engineering. As manager, Keith W. Pillich oversees industrial hygiene practices worldwide, and he is also responsible for appropriate safety training and accident reporting at worksites.
With an extensive knowledge of data safety techniques, Mr. Pillich has utilized mobile apps as a way of mitigating risk. In 2015, he was involved in a Tesla SolarCity buildout process that involved developing a Buffalo, New York solar panel manufacturing plant that spans 1.2 million square feet. He was responsible for the safety protocol involved with approximately 2,500 construction workers at a site with numerous environmental remediation requirements in play.
A graduate of the University of Buffalo with an undergraduate degree in toxicology and safety, Mr. Pillich is Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) qualified in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response. With experience working for the U.S. Army during the Iraq War, Keith Walter Pillich has also overseen a number of EHS projects over the years in the Middle East.
