After earning a bachelor of science in biochemistry and philosophy from Juniata College with magna cum laude distinction, Dr. Kenneth B. Kurica matriculated at the Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine to obtain his doctor of medicine. His accomplishments at Temple led to his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Dr. Kenneth B. Kurica went on to complete multiple surgical residencies and a research fellowship in pathology and surgery at the Presbyterian Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. He also served clinical spine fellowships with Boston Children’s Hospital and the Royal London Hospital.
After operating his own surgical spine and trauma practice for two decades, Dr. Kenneth B. Kurica retired from orthopedic surgery in 2006. Since that time, he has served as president, chief executive officer, and chief medical officer of IntraNerve/PRN Partners/IntraDiagnostics. Dr. Kurica’s responsibilities with this group centers on providing intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and teleneurology services.
