Kenneth Wirth has been the Business Manager of The Midtown Men since 2005. The Midtown Men are the four original stars from the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys. It is the 12th the longest running Broadway musical of all time. Since establishing The Midtown Men, the group has performed more than 900 shows on the international stage. In his role as business manager, Kenneth Wirth is tasked with overseeing all businesses activities at the corporate office in Greenwich CT. His responsibilities include but are not limited to contract negotiations and signing, travel planning, and payroll along with fringe benefit and retirement planning.
In addition to his work with The Midtown Men, Kenneth Wirth has spent over four decades as Chief Executive Officer of First Financial Resources Ltd. The Connecticut financial services firm works with a variety of clients across a multitude of financial areas. One of the fortes of Mr Wirth and firm is extensive retirement planning. Over the last several years they have focused on Frozen Defined Benefit plans. This are is a vital market as both non profits and corporations must seek resolution of this liability. The approach taken by Mr Wirth is to coordinate a feasibility study to determine the appropriate entity that can best serve the client. This work is done in multiple states.
Recently Mr Wirth was elected to the Executive Board of The Drama League as Treasurer. This 100 year old theatrical staple will hold its annual Gala in New York city honoring Nathan Lane. Mr Wirth has helped this Non Profit organization by seeking significant contributions.
Mr. Wirth holds a degree in Philosophy from St. Bonaventure University. In addition, he earned a Masters degree of Fine Arts in creative writing from Manhattanville College, graduating with honors.
Mr Wirth and his firm were certified to present Workshop seminars on Social Security planning for the retiring group of baby boomers. This group represents the most significant number of retirees in the history of the country. This complimentary presentation has been offered over 50 times in six different states. The objective of the workshop is to present Social Security information, options and explanations of how the rules work and effect retirees and families.
Mr Wirth, a six time Tony award winner continues his involvement with Broadway projects trying to repeat the award for Best Play Drama Revival with Jitney by August Wilson at the 2017 Tony Awards.
