A businessman with more than a decade of experience in senior executive roles, Kenton Kilmer serves as vice president with Young America Capital, a boutique investment bank based in New York. In this leadership role, he carries out numerous responsibilities, including capital introduction services related to transactions in such market sectors as digital media and energy. For the New York firm, Kenton Kilmer also conducts industry research to deliver proprietary market insights to the firm’s clientele.
Before transitioning to Young America Capital, he worked for many years in China. Most recently, he supported F&Y Capital in Shenzhen, China, as vice president. The company, which manages a private equity fund, provided hundreds of millions of dollars in investments for new Chinese technology firms in the pre-initial public offering (IPO) phase. Earlier, he founded QQC Consulting, a Chinese-American consultancy focusing on heavy industry and mineral trade analyses.
Beyond his professional life, he enjoys playing games like contract bridge and mahjong. As befitting an international businessman, he speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently, and has some proficiency with the French and Portuguese languages.
