Through his private family practice in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Kevin Buckwalter treats adults as well as pediatric and geriatric patients. Before assuming this position in 1998, he worked in the hospital setting, serving tenures with the Tulare County Sierra View District Hospital in Porterville, California, and the Fremont Medical Center in Henderson, Nevada. Dr. Kevin Buckwalter holds a medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine and an undergraduate degree in zoology/pre-med studies from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). While enrolled at UNR, he completed significant research into glial regeneration within the central nervous system of insects.
When he isn’t treating his own patients as a private practitioner, Dr. Kevin Buckwalter volunteers his services through Doctors in Need. He has sponsored multiple local sports teams through his medical office. In his free time, Dr. Buckwalter enjoys getting outside to hike, fish, and camp. He is also an avid world traveler and Civil War enthusiast.
