Minister. Kevin Alston,Jr was born on June 24, 2001. He is the son of Kevin Alston Sr and Lakisha Williams. He resides in Mebane, NC with his Father and Grandmother Gloria Mcpherson. He is a teacher, speaker, leader, and student, but most of all a servant of God who truly believes in the power of Jesus! He is a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he serves as an Associate Minister, Youth Missionary President and Worship leader under the leadership of Rev. Tony Boss. He is a faithful member of the New Hope Association. He was also elected in 2017 to be the Youth Worship Chairman for the Women's Home and Foreign Missionary of the General Baptist State Convention.
Kevin is currently a junior at Orange High School in Hillsborough, NC where he is apart of many clubs including the following: FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), MAP (Minority Achievers Program), Link Crew, School Spirit Club and Student Government. He was also elected, for the second consecutive year, to be apart of the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council. He was selected by the Orange County Schools Superintendent, Dr. Todd Wirt, to be the opening speaker at the followings: 2017 Teacher's Conference and the 2017 The State of The Schools Event.
Kevin Alston, Jr was called to preach at the age of 13, under the leadership of the late Rev. Ronnie L. Johnson. He answered his calling in October of 2016 and had the privilege of preaching his Initial Sermon on November 12, 2017. He is thankful and grateful that God chose him to bring forth the holy word and does not take it lightly. One of his favorite scriptures is: Psalms 150:6 “Let everything that has breath, Praise ye the Lord!”
