Kirk Fisher, the CEO of Louisiana's Fisher Real Estate, has been a leader in business for nearly two decades. Since founding this real estate company in 2005, he has led it in building facilities for national retail chains. As director of operations and COO of The Advocate in Baton Rouge until 2008, he oversaw more than 650 staff members across several departments, helping the company maintain profitability in a troubled economy. Since 2010, Kirk Fisher has also been an executive in residence and MBA instructor with Louisiana State University's E.J. Ourso College of Business, teaching sections of courses related to his work such as operations management and management consulting.
During his free time, Mr. Fisher enjoys music in all its forms, and plays as well as listens. He works with several charities through his band, Better than Nobody, a group of business professionals which plays at charity events for organizations such as churches and Casa for Casa. He also likes to attend musicals on Broadway.
