The recipient of a bachelor's degree in psychology from John Carroll University, Korenna Barto Reynard has since earned a master’s degree in community agency counseling from Cleveland State University. She has also earned multiple post-graduate certifications in topics relating to relationships and sexuality - including training in modalities such as Non-Violent Communication, Attachment Parenting, Relationship Enhancement, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Upon completing her doctoral internship at New Mexico State University in 2009, Korenna Barto Reynard began her career as a program designer with RelateSpace. She worked six years with the California-based company where she was responsible for creating educational multimedia programs focused on personal and relationship growth.
Concurrently, Ms. Reynard served as a life coach for individuals and couples at First Kiss Through First Kid, where she provided counseling and coaching with an emphasis on supporting people in the areas of: intimacy, communication skills, and parenting. Since 2016, she has leveraged her experience and education as a core faculty member at The Circling Institute. She is also a product development lead with the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
