Dr. Kurian Thott serves as CEO and practicing physician at and of the Women’s Health and Surgery Center, a Stafford, Virginia, group medical practice specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. He has served in this capacity since 2008, and specializes in urogynecology, minimally invasive gynecological surgeries, and pelvic reconstructions. His practice is one of seven such surgical centers offering laparoscopic tubal reversals. In addition to his work with the Women’s Health and Surgery Center, Dr. Kurian Thott serves as chief of the OB-GYN Department at the Stafford Hospital. He also trains gynecological surgeons in laparoscopic hysterectomy procedures as a consultant with Ethicon LLC, a firm owned by Johnson & Johnson.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Thott served as chief resident in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center department of obstetrics and gynecology, where he previously served as resident and received training in gynecology and obstetrics. He completed his rotations through a Northwestern University Hospital program working at several hospitals in the Chicago area.
In his spare time, Dr. Thott is a self-described foodie, and enjoys expanding his culinary horizons at locally owned restaurants.
