WDF Inc

Lawrence Roman is a resident of Westchester County, NY who has built a career as a construction executive and business leader. A member of the New York Building Foundation and the Subcontractors Trade Association, Lawrence Roman began his career with his family business R&C Corporation, which he sold in 1988 and reacquired in 1995 for one-tenth of what he sold it for. Within four years, he had restructured the business and grew its sales from $12.5 million to $78.5 million. In 2000, he sold the company for a 9,000 percent profit.

Since selling the company, Westchester County-based Lawrence Roman has been involved with Nagelbush Mechanical and Five Star Electric. In 2008, he formed GreenStar Services as a full service plumbing, electrical, and HVAC firm with offices in South Florida and NY. The company has completed and has ongoing projects in Freedom Tower, the Time Warner Building, and 15 Central Park West. In addition to his pursuits in construction services, Mr. Roman has owned several harness and thoroughbred racehorses including Swan Image, Digger, and Paula's Best. He also previously partnered with IEAH Stables, which owned the 2008 Kentucky Derby-winning horse Big Brown.
