Leroy Stotelmyer

A former test and certification pilot, Leroy Stotelmyer has spent more than 25 years with the United States Department of Defense. In this role, he oversees the handling of commercial and government technology transfer among all international and United Nations participants. Additionally, Leroy Stotelmyer creates written and oral reports and consults with senior officials on fact-finding missions.

Mr. Stotelmyer graduated from the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor of science in aero-engineering. He then received a master’s degree in systems engineering from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in mathematics from Duke University. He began his career as a project engineer with Hughes Aircraft Company, where he managed the assembly and testing of flight operations and traveling-wave tubes. In recognition of his work designing more efficient workstations, he received the Total Quality and Management Award. He also served as a spacecraft manager with Hughes, managing 50 personnel and working with NASA on the installation of spacecraft into the Delta and Titan launch vehicles.
