Now living in Los Angeles, I was born in Vietnam into a family of artists. My mother is Vietnam's "People's Artist" movie actress NSND Minh Châu and my late father, Kiều Tuấn, was a well-known architect/painter/movie director. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a double major in Accounting and Marketing in 2006 and worked as a Certified Public Accountant (auditor and controller) for ten years, mainly in New York City. Frustrated by the mundane nature of my work and its lack of impact, I left to start Yem, a luxury sustainable clothing line that consumers can trust and are proud to wear.
The above is my official resume. The person that I have come to discover in myself over the last few years is someone who consistently strives to be inherently happy. And one of the things that make me happy is having a profitable business that is meaningful to me and beneficial to everyone involved.
