Researcher, Entrepreneur, Science popularizer. I am working on the design and safety of centrifugal compressors. Those machines are of great industrial performance and are used by everyone on a daily basis: vacuum cleaners, hand dryers, car turbochargers, air condition, aircraft engines, chemical industry, heavy industry, power plants. My goal is to make compressors safer and more economical To achieve this aim I'm focusing on compressor monitoring, industry 4.0 and applications of compressors in intelligent industry systems.

My second area of interest is technology transfer and innovation. It's truly exciting when results of academic research are influencing our lives. That's why I co-founded Innovation & Impact - Scientific Technology and Business Journal.

I'm keen photographer, love listening to vinyl discs. In free time I enjoy bike trips. My favourite place on earth is Barra island in Scottish Hebrides and Landmannalaugar in Iceland.
