Living Under A Perfect Lifestyle - It's All About You!
Lifestyle, the way we live our lives, is the sum total of all the choices we make in one moment to one day, week or month. Lifestyle is not something we decide upon on the spur of the moment, or even on the spur of the intellect. It is made up of habits, which if we do not fit into, are extremely hard to change and can sometimes be quite difficult to find the motivation for. The good news is that we have the opportunity, with the right information, to turn any Lifestyle into a self-care routine, so that it fits into and enhances the things we already do, rather than becoming something we are trying to avoid, like many people do.
The Lifestyle we choose is the sum total of our experiences over time. Lifestyle is not just a set of behaviors, but the way we carry ourselves through our day, week and month. Lifestyle can change with circumstances and adaptability, such as changing jobs and family dynamics or health and disability.
Lifestyle can become a desk job if we are willing to make an investment in ourselves, and if we take some time out to improve our skills and attitudes.
A desk job can be draining and isolating. There is little or no social interaction and the isolation can be profound. The answer is to create a social network through activities such as hobbies, exercise, gardening, reading and talking. A desk job can lead to a lack of social interaction and many will leave the workforce to pursue other possibilities. Creating a Lifestyle that fits into your life is a vital first step. It doesn't have to be expensive, but investing a little time now will pay huge dividends in the future.
We all have some free time at the end of the day, don't make it work against you by being in a state of static dread about where the next appointment is or the work plan for the week. You need to relax and unwind, get away from the desk and get involved with what's important. Your Lifestyle is your way of living, it is your routine, your daily habits, and your ultimate calling!
Lifestyle is important, and choosing it is even more important. It's very easy to fall into the trap of thinking that your lifestyle has to be a job, a career and a home; however this isn't true. Lifestyle is all aspects of your life that you make a priority and work on daily. Some examples are - Being present with your children as they grow and learn, making sure they have the basic education they require before entering school, choosing your friends carefully and spending time with them helping them develop their personalities.
Your Lifestyle is your calling, your way of working, of living. Don't chase it, just be who you are and enjoy the journey! Creating a lifestyle that suits you mean being able to make choices that will benefit you in your future. Lifestyle changes over time usually reflect one's thoughts, values, beliefs and behavior. It's your choice.
