As the long-time executive vice president of finance and administration for CTI Biopharma in Seattle, Washington, Louis Bianco oversaw both product development and overall organizational growth. He facilitated multiple acquisitions including the industry's first purchase of a Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) and New Drug Application (NDA) for a commercial product. In addition, Louis Bianco supported the highly profitable launch of that product, marketed as Trisenox, as well as the market launches of two additional commercial products.
Louis Bianco came to this position following extensive management and executive experience in financial services. He stands out as the former vice president of risk management for Deutsche Bank Government Securities and a past manager of special investments for Goldman Sachs. He also served as senior manager of a financial services center for Deloitte & Touche.
Louis Bianco holds a bachelor of arts in economics from Iona College, where he served as treasurer of social service fraternity Delta Lambda Kappa. He went on to receive a master of business administration (MBA) from New York University as well as a certified public accountant (CPA) credential.
