Louis Paolino has presided over numerous rapidly expanding public and private enterprises within the environmental sector while amassing over 35 years of executive experience. One of Louis Paolino's early business ventures was Girard Point Transfer, a Philadelphia-based waste processing company that he sold to the NASDAQ-listed Mid-American Waste Systems, Inc., for $12 million.
In 1990, Louis Paolino received one of the first permits in the United States to burn contaminated soil as a means of cleaning remediated soil. Consequently, he launched Soil Remediation, Inc., and converted an old asphalt plant into a soil remediation center. Within a year, the company reached $9 million in sales, and by three years, he had sold the business to USA Waste Services for $20 million. Mr. Paolino, Jr., later served as a regional vice president for USA Waste Services, and from 1996 to 1999, he functioned as the president of Eastern Environmental Services.
In 1999, Louis Paolino, Jr., transitioned to the security sector and accepted a role as the CEO of Mace Security International, Inc., which produces pepper spray and other law enforcement and security products. During his nine years with the company, he raised over $25 million and acquired 18 businesses as part of an aggressive growth strategy while growing asset value from a modest $2.5 million to more than $60 million.
