A longtime resident of Baltimore, Luca Simmons graduated from a prestigious preparatory academy, The Gilman School, where he was a multisport athlete and captain of the varsity baseball team. After studying international relations at the American University of Rome in Italy and management at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, he found employment as a dental assistant in a suburb of Maryland. Working at a successful oral and maxillofacial surgery practice, Luca Simmons helps the Oral Surgeon with procedures that include tooth extractions, surgical implants, and biopsies. He also performs administrative duties that range from appointment scheduling to filling out patient charts.

In addition to his work as a dental assistant, Luca Simmons is pursuing his bachelor of business administration at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School in Washington, DC. He expects to graduate in 2018.

When he isn’t working or studying, Mr. Simmons enjoys traveling and playing guitar. His first love, though is baseball, which he watches, plays, and teaches.
