A physician who has practiced general family medicine for nearly 60 years, Dr. Ludlow Creary holds a doctor of medicine from Howard University’s College of Medicine in Washington, DC, and a master of public health from the University of California, Los Angeles. Over the course of his career, Dr. Ludlow Creary has served as a professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the LAC-King/Drew Medical Center and chaired the Department of Family Medicine at the Martin Luther King Jr. Outpatient Center. Dr. Ludlow Creary also operated his own general practice on the corner of Central Avenue and 120th Street in Los Angeles from 1963 to 1984.
Dr. Creary is currently the owner and medical director of Visiting Angels of Los Angeles, the executive secretary of the Minority Health Foundation, and a board member of the Congress of Racial Equality.
When he isn’t working, he is an avid collector, with large compendiums of coins and stamps, among other cherished objects and memorabilia.
