A long-time Northern California resident with family roots in Taiwan, Lulu Roberts has a strong volunteer presence and serves on the board of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals with her husband. Lulu Roberts’ community efforts include helping establish a local Chinese-language library. She also mentors women incarcerated in San Mateo County prisons.
Possessing an extensive background in journalism, Ms. Roberts served as a reporter with Taiwan Channel 4 News and edited the publication Amazing Magazine. A culinary enthusiast, she has been host of the American Cooking Show, and compiled a variety of classic American dishes into a cookbook published by Taiwan’s Cube Press. Passionate about vegan and raw foods, her most recent project is a cookbook in this niche.
One of Ms. Roberts’ favorite activities is vinyasa yoga. She is certified as an instructor, and also completed a pregnancy yoga teacher training program. Lulu Roberts enjoys creating art and photography, as well as outdoor activities such as tennis and rock climbing in her free time.
