The chief executive officer for Decimal, Inc., for three decades, Lynn Braggs is an established presence in the Shreveport, Louisiana, community who has achieved positive campaign results for numerous elected officials. Lynn Braggs’ political-consulting work has comprised assignments for state representatives, US senators, city council members, and district attorneys.
His professional accomplishments include assisting with every Shreveport mayoral candidate’s election since 2006, when Cedric B. Glover, the city’s first Black mayor, was elected. He also consulted on the successful campaign of Ollie S. Tyler, the city’s first Black woman mayor. Another venture that he helped with involved the Caddo Parish Get Out the Vote effort on behalf of Louisiana Governor John Bell Edwards.
Beyond political consulting, Lynn Braggs is a Krewe of Harambee founding member. The krewe raises funds for charitable organizations and fosters minority participation in cultural activities during the Mardi Gras season. Each year, the krewe also awards scholarships to three students in single-parent homes at the Martin Luther King Hopes and Dreams Breakfast.
