A student of psychology at Florida State University (FSU) in Tallahassee, Madison Leigh Gerhard plans to graduate with her bachelor of science in 2022. Before enrolling at FSU in 2018, she lived, studied, and worked in southern New Jersey. Madison Leigh Gerhard attended high school at both the Peddie School in Hightstown and Colts Neck High School in Colts Neck. While completing coursework for her high school diploma from Colts Neck High School, she completed 12 college credits at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft. She has since transferred these credits to FSU.

While in New Jersey, Ms. Gerhard also worked as a sales associate with the Bee Boutique in Sea Girt. Her duties with this fashionable women’s clothing store ranged from direct customer service to stocking shelves and pricing items for sale. While living in New Jersey, she also served two years with the Colts Neck-based horseback riding and equine care organization Due Process Stables.
