A former electrical engineer, Manjit Guleria holds a master of science in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri. After spearheading power electronics development for the Zytec Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Lockheed Martin, Manjit Guleria began to transition away from his engineering career, which had lasted over two decades.

Manjit Guleria entered the gasoline industry in 1994 as the president of Upbeat Enterprises in Maple Shade, New Jersey. In addition to his ongoing leadership of Upbeat, he has served as president of Guleria Enterprises in Pennington, New Jersey, since 1998. After doing business as a successful multi-location gasoline retailer for 7 years, this organization began focusing on wholesale operations in 2005.

When he isn’t busy with his two businesses, Manjit Guleria is a dedicated tennis player who entered the New Jersey USTA finals as part of his local league. He is also a passionate singer who belongs to the Indian Karaoke Singer Group (IKSG), with recordings that get regular exposure on the IKSG’s 24-hour Internet radio station.
